Wanted: Willing Hearts and Hands

We are so excited as we approach the date of our service project on Saturday, June 21st from 10am-3pm (12pm break for lunch and guest speaker from Blankets For Canada)! Everything has come together so well!

All we need now are sisters who have charity and compassion in their hearts, who want to follow the example of our Savior as we join together to assemble and sew quilts and quillos for our brothers and sisters who are most in need. Even if you dont know the first thing about sewing, as long as you have a willing heart, hands, and a little time to spare on the 21st (even if you cant stay the entire time) we have a great need for YOU to join us! Please come help us and experience the joy and blessings that giving service brings!

We Need Your Help!

In preparation for our June 21st "Warm the World" service project we need assistance sorting and cutting fabric, sewing fabric squares into quilt tops, and knitting or crocheting 8" squares to be assembled into blankets.

If you could help sort and cut fabric please come to the BYOCPN in the Relief Society Room at 7pm on Wednesday May 28th, or contact Sis Patricia Livingstone.

If you can sew together squares to make a quilt top, please pick-up a package of fabric squares from Relief Society on Sunday, and return it when completed, or bring it to the church gym the day of the service project (june 21st).

8" knit or crocheted squares can be made in any quanity out of any colour of 4 ply yarn. When completed these can be dropped off in Relief Society on Sunday, or brought to the church gym the day of the service project (june 21st).

Thank-you so much for your help! Together we can accomplish so much!!!
